On November 10th, 2005 I was traveling back to NB from a visit in Winnipeg and had made plans to stop over in Ottawa to be on Parliament Hill for the Remembrance Day Service.   Both of my parents had served in the  Canadian  Armed  Forces during  WWII  and,  as my Mother had passed away the previous June,  this would  be  the  first  year to  honor  them  both  on  Remembrance  Day.   It was a special time for me, and made more so, as I was joined by fellow Shilo-mates,   Zoe  Fowler  and  Faye Helgason.  Faith Power had joined us for dinner the previous evening.  Wonderful memories !
